Donald I. McClellan joined Basler Family Law in July 2021. Donny effectively advocates for his clients by finding creative solutions to achieve client goals. He helps clients work through difficult and stressful situations so they can focus on building the life they want for themselves and their loved ones after the case is over. The long-term is often difficult to see in domestic relation cases, particularly when the case is high conflict. Mr. McClellan knows that ultimately moving past the anger and pain to focus on what is truly important leads to greater happiness for those going through what is likely the hardest event in their lives, and he takes great pride in helping clients find that happiness.
Mr. McClellan began practicing at the Family Law Clinic when he was still in law school. After graduation, he scored in the top 2% in the nation on the Multistate Bar Exam, then clerked for the Honorable Thomas R. French on the family law docket in Colorado’s 8th Judicial District. He then entered private practice and his experience in family law led him to Basler Family Law, PLLC, which has a reputation for professionalism and zealous advocacy.
Mr. McClellan offers bundled and unbundled services in all areas of family law, including prenuptial agreements, divorces, child support and maintenance issues, relocation, parenting plan modifications, and parenting plan enforcement. He handles every case, from reviewing a separation agreement to high conflict divorces, with professionalism, integrity, skill, and diligence.
Mr. McClellan is licensed to practice law in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
